Welcome to Dubai Gold Gems (“Platform”), an online auction marketplace for gemstones, jewelry, and related items. By registering, bidding, or purchasing on our Platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility & Registration
● Users must be 18+ years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts.
● Accounts must be registered with accurate, up-to-date information.
● Prohibited: Fake accounts, fraudulent activity, or circumventing auction rules.
2. Auction Process
A. Sellers’ Obligations
● Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, high-quality images, and certifications (e.g., GIA, AGS) for gemstones/jewelry.
● Misrepresentation may lead to account suspension and legal action.
● Sellers set a reserve price (if applicable) and agree to sell if the reserve is met.
B. Buyers’ Obligations
● Bids are binding. Winning bidders must complete payment within 24-48 hours.
● Non-payment may result in penalties, including account suspension.
● Buyers are responsible for import duties, taxes, and VAT.
3. Payments & Fees
● Buyer’s Premium:
No fee applied on winning bids.
No buyer premium or protection fee.
● Seller’s Commission:
Seven 7% of the final sale price.
No listing fee, no store fee, no reserve price fee, No other fee.
● Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, Bank Transfer, etc.
● No refunds for authenticity disputes unless proven fraudulent.
4. Shipping & Returns
● Sellers must ship items within three “3” business days after winning bid.
● Insurance is mandatory for high-value items (recommended for all shipments).
● No insurance; any damage during shipping is entirely the seller’s responsibility.
● Returns only accepted if the item materially differs from the listing (must be reported asap, at latest within 3 days).
5. Disputes & Fraud Protection
● Escrow services are used for high-value transactions.
● Chargeback abuse will result in permanent bans.
● Disputes are usually resolved mutually between buyers and sellers. Rarely need escalation to customer service for mediation or legal action if necessary.
6. Private Communication Policy
We do not accept any private communication between buyers and sellers outside of our portal communication system. Our system can detect such activities, which can result in cancellation of transactions and suspension of accounts. Any outside communication can result in fraud and conning.
7. Intellectual Property
● All content (images, descriptions) belongs to sellers or the Platform.
● Unauthorized use of listings is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
○ Misrepresented items (buyers must verify before bidding).
○ Shipping delays, damages, or customs issues.
○ Technical failures affecting auctions.
9. Termination & Suspension
● We reserve the right to suspend/terminate accounts for violations.
● Users may appeal suspensions via support@dubaigoldgems.com.
10. Governing Law
● These Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE.
11. Changes to Bidding Time
The time indicated online for placing a bid is determined exclusively by the Dubaigoldgems.ae website’s system clock. The bidding time may be changed without prior notice. With online auctions, the bidding time will automatically be moved back by 5 min when bids are placed within the last 2 minutes before the end of the bidding period.

Our platform reviews and hosts listings in accordance with our submission and quality guidelines. While we aim to present each jewelry item with accurate descriptions and high-quality images, there may occasionally be minor discrepancies or unintentional inaccuracies.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to carefully review all available information, including the condition report, item description, and images, before placing a bid or completing a purchase. Sellers are fully responsible for the accuracy of the information, images, and descriptions they provide, including the quality, quantity, and nature of the jewelry listed. Minor imperfections that are described but not visible in photos do not constitute non-conformity.
Any Lab Report provided is not to be considered a guarantee, valuation, or formal appraisal of the items listed. It reflects only the characteristics of the item as analyzed by the specific lab using their available techniques, tools, and standards at the time of examination. Results from other laboratories may vary depending on the grading system, the equipment used, the examiner’s expertise, and the time of examination.
Furthermore, advances in grading techniques or equipment that may later detect treatments or enhancements previously undetectable do not automatically imply that the item does not match its original description.
13. Changes to Terms
● We may update these Terms; Users will be notified via email or Platform notice.
