Dubai Gold Gems – Seller Listing Guidelines

Welcome to Dubai Gold Gems! Here’s everything you need to know to successfully list your items on our platform. Please follow these guidelines to ensure accurate listings and smooth transactions.

1. Listing an Item

To list an item for sale, go to your Seller Dashboard and click on the Sell an Item option. You will need to provide accurate descriptions, high-quality photos, and relevant item details. Adhering to our listing standards will help you achieve higher ratings and trust with buyers.

2. Item Details

• Accurate Information: Include all necessary details such as weight, dimensions, clarity, origin, and quantity. These must be provided in the system fields (e.g., weight, dimensions, treatments).
• Description Box: Provide a detailed description of the item in plain text. Avoid logos, links, or HTML code.
• Certifications: If your item is certified, include a photo of the certificate. It must be clear and legible, showing the dimensions, title, lab, and other vital details.
• Collection Listings: If listing a collection of gems, include the dimensions of the largest stone in the collection in the system fields and the quantity in the item description. The whole collection must be certified.

3. Listing Type & Duration

• Auction or Catalogue: Choose whether you’re listing your item in an Auction or as a Catalogue item.
• Auction Items: Once the auction finishes with no bids, it will automatically relist as a Catalogue item.
  
  • No Reserve Auction: Catalogue price will be the starting bid price.
• • Reserve Auction: Catalogue price will be the reserve price.

4. Photos and Videos

• Required Images: All listings must have at least three photos from different angles or one photo and one video. The main picture should be of the actual item (not the certificate).
  
  
  • Photo Dimensions: The main picture must be square and at least 1200x1200px.
    
  • Authenticity: All images must be of the actual item, not stock photos, and should not be over-enhanced.
  • Certification: If applicable, include a clear, legible photo of the certification with matching details to the item being sold.

5. Finalizing Your Listing

After adding all required details, descriptions, photos, and videos, click on the Publish button to list your item. You can view your listings in your My Store section to track their status.

6. Scheduled & Draft Listings

• Scheduled Listings: You can schedule your listing to go live at a specific time by setting the start date and time.
• Draft Listings: If you’re not ready to publish, save your listing as a draft. You can edit and publish it later from your Manage Inventory section.

Quick Reminders & Tips

• Photo Ownership: All images used in your listings must be your own, not taken from other sources.
• Templates: Use listing templates for quicker item uploads, especially for similar items. Templates save time by pre-filling most information.
