Policy Terms
- First Warning: A formal notice is issued, and the seller must correct the violation immediately.
- Second Warning: The seller’s account is restricted for 30 days, preventing new listings.
- Third Warning: The seller is permanently suspended, and their store is closed.
Serious violations may result in immediate and permanent suspension without prior warnings.”
Violations That Lead to Warnings
- Failure to fulfill orders (e.g., not shipping items or delaying refunds).
- Misrepresentation of items (e.g., selling treated gemstones as natural, mislabeling jewelry materials).
- Unprofessional conduct (e.g., failing to communicate with buyers or support within 7 days).
- Coercion or threats (e.g., pressuring buyers to remove negative feedback).
- Repeated listing mistakes (e.g., incorrect descriptions or pricing).
- Failure to honor a sale after an auction ends.
Immediate and Permanent Suspension May Occur If a Seller:
- Sells outside the platform, bypassing buyer protection.
- Engages in fraudulent activity (e.g., bidding on their own listings).
- Displays abusive, rude, or unprofessional behavior.
- Defames Dubai Gold Gems or its users.
- Refuses platform-required authentication checks on items.
Dubai Gold Gems reserves the right to enforce suspensions at its discretion to protect the integrity of the marketplace.
Blocking a Bidder on Dubai Gold Gems
Sellers have the ability to block specific bidders from participating in their auctions.
How to Block a Bidder:
- Go to your Seller Dashboard.
- Click on “Manage Bidders” and select “Block Bidder”.
- Enter the bidder’s username and confirm the action.
What Happens When You Block a Bidder?
- The blocked bidder cannot place bids on your listings.
- You can review and manage your blocked bidders list anytime.
- If needed, you can unblock a bidder from the same dashboard.
Viewing Your Blocked Bidders
To see your list of blocked bidders, visit the “Blocked Bidders” section in your Seller Dashboard. Dubai Gold Gems encourages fair trading—only block bidders if necessary to maintain a safe and smooth auction experience

How to Upload Photos:
- Go to your Seller Dashboard.
- Select “Add New Listing” or edit an existing one.
- Click “Upload Photos” and choose high-quality images from your device.
- Arrange the images to showcase the item from different angles.
- Save and publish your listing.
Photo Requirements:
Use clear, high-resolution images (no blurry or pixelated photos).
Ensure accurate color representation of the item.
Include close-up shots for details (e.g., gemstone clarity, jewelry markings).
Use a neutral or white background for better visibility.
Avoid watermarks, logos, or distracting elements in the image.
Profile Photo (Optional):
- Upload a profile picture in your Account Settings to build trust with buyers.
